  • INSURANCE AND FEES

While I do not accept insurance, the majority of my clients do receive reimbursement from their insurance companies by submitting claims and identifying me as an out-of-network provider.

    Insurance Reimbursement

Please call your insurance company and check with one of their representatives about your individual insurance plan to see about their reimbursement policies. In many cases, reimbursement depends on the diagnosis code as well as the billing or CPT code.  For insurance inquiries, the CPT codes we use most often are:

                                                         9079 1  - Diagnostic Evaluation

                                                         90834 - Psychotherapy, 45-50 minutes

                                                         90837 - Psychotherapy, 60 minutes and above

All fees are payable at the time of the evaluation. Upon request, I will provide a super bill with all the pertinent information (CPT codes, diagnosis code, Tax ID number, NPI number, etc.) needed for you to submit a claim. I will not directly bill your insurance company. You are responsible for all billing and collection of reimbursements from your insurance company.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. When you call your insurance company, check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

    • Do I have mental health benefits?

    • What is my deductible and has it been met?

    • Do I have a separate deductible for out of network mental health support?

    • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?

    • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network licensced marriage and family therapist provider?

    • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

  • I am currently seeing clients virtually through secure video platforms with limited Walk and Talk availability.

My business hours are Monday-Thursday from 11 AM-7 PM.

  • Please see the Therapy page for pricing information.

  • I have had the great honor of supporting many individuals and couples through some of their darkest times. They have shared with me that my warmth, empathy, deep listening, and valuable insights have stood out to them and made all the difference. Folks also tell me that they value my sense of humor and how “real” I am. I don’t shy away from hard topics, and welcome anything you have to share. Conversations about sex, politics, religion, death, and all things that feel taboo to discuss in day-to-day life are welcome. I am proud to say that the people I serve, more often than not, get results!

  • No person is the same, and as a result, no therapeutic approach should be either. Your treatment plan will be catered specifically to you. My approach combines an exploration of your past with tools to navigate the present.

For the therapy nerds: I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and I incorporate Existential, Relational, Psychodynamic, Attachment-focused, and Mindfulness approaches in my work. For couples, I utilize an Emotionally Focused (EFT) approach.
